SOCRATIVE
The first teaching tool that i will review is Socrative. Socrative is a cloud-based student response system developed in 2010 by Boston-based graduate school students. It allows students to take quizzes and do activities on computers, laptops or their own smartphone. Socrative is one of the best tool because students can use their portable media to provide with instant feedback. it also does not require the students to buy anything and it will benefit teachers to create quizzes without time consuming.
There are many activities that can be done in Socrative.
1) Quizzes
- it is for design and edit our own library of assessment specifically for the students. Save them to the Socrative account to use at a moment's notice.
- This can reduce the usage of paper or making copies. We can control the students while they are answering the question.

- It can review students understanding at the class, individual student, or question-level. And, because each Socrative report is saved to the account, you can quickly download, email, or transfer reports to Google Drive anytime.
- Analyzing individual student data over time will take more time and effort than most teachers have.

5) Results
- Visualize student understanding in the moment as student results populate your screen in real time. Use the instant feedback to determine next steps in your instruction.
- View student and class-level performance as answers are submitted. Responses are automatically graded for you and clearly displayed.
- Click on the question number or class total percentage for a detailed question-by-question view. Use this as a basis for class discussion or to group students for future instruction.
6) Student Experience
- Students instantly submit answers and feedback directly to the instructor in a clean, intuitive interface.
- Kids will like the instant feedback; it’s easy for teachers to see where students are missing a concept and adjust instruction accordingly.
In my opinion, this digital application is one of the best tool to have an interctive learning between students. Besides, it has made teachers' work easier as all of the students have become focused in class and well-engaged through constructive participation.
