I bet everyone know this tool. Kahoot! has been around since March 2013. Kahoot! was launched in private beta at SXSWedu. In September 2013, the beta was opened to public, and it's been quite a ride ever since!
Kahoot! can quickly become a go-to for teachers looking for alternative way to run checks the understanding of students. Teachers can do something like Kahoot!Day for quick review foor some subjects they had learned. It also can be use to break ice at the beginning of school year to bond with learning-community members.
With new Challenge mode, students can assign Kahoot! quizzes for homework by sharing a link or game PIN or by posting to Google Classroom (Challenge mode only works in the app, so students will need a mobile device or Windows 10 computer to access this feature). So this app is convenient to use for university students an school students.
The advantages of Kahoot! is that effortlessly fun quizzing that can lead to productive formative assessment and student reflection if implemented effectively. Other than that, a compelling and easy way to engage kids in pre- and formative-assessment activities.
