The tool is Pear Deck. Pear Deck is an interactive presentation tool used to actively engage students in individual and social learning. Teachers create presentations using their Google Drive account. Students log into the presentation with unique access codes and interact with questions while teachers monitor student and whole-class progress. Pear Deck is a freemium service ; teachers and schools can access a wide array of tools an resources for free or opt to subscribe to premium account Pear Deck has been amazing for just in-time teaching. it allows classroom to feel more like a tutoring session rather than normal lecture class. I bet everyone know this tool. Kahoot! has been around since March 2013. Kahoot! was launched in private beta at SXSWedu. In September 2013, the beta was opened to public, and it's been quite a ride ever since! Kahoot! can quickly become a go-to for teachers looking for alternative way to run checks the understanding of students. Teachers can do something like Kahoot!Day for quick review foor some subjects they had learned. It also can be use to break ice at the beginning of school year to bond with learning-community members. With new Challenge mode, students can assign Kahoot! quizzes for homework by sharing a link or game PIN or by posting to Google Classroom (Challenge mode only works in the app, so students will need a mobile device or Windows 10 computer to access this feature). This is my last entry. The next digital tool I’m gonna share is Seesaw. The learning journal provides opportunities for students and teachers to really think outside the box. Students can show their work and thought processes in real time by submitting a video of themselves working through a math problem, snapping a picture of a paragraph they wrote, recording themselves reading a poem, or uploading a file to demonstrate their learning. Encourage kids to submit a series of images along the notes that tell the story that connects them.
